Hi, I'm Lou and live up in North Yorkshire.              

I started my working life in banking and then moved to the Civil Service where I have been employed for 22 yrs.  This has been in managerial roles, training and more recently dealing with costs. 

I trained and attained my Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling 8 yrs ago, although now I would describe myself as practising as an integrated counsellor. My training and the way I work is client led. The client is the expert and the counsellor allows the client to work things out for him/herself. I do use other techniques and do incorporate my complementary therapies within my counselling work to enhance the process. This is always guided by the client. I use relaxation techniques and meditation also.

I have worked as a counsellor for many years and have well over 1000 hours experience. I did my placements within voluntary organisations covering many different aspects.   I have also practised within a family assessment unit for many years where there has been a lot of clients with the most traumatic experiences. Within this work I have covered a wide range of client needs some of which are stress, relationship, phobias as well as abuse, both sexual and mental. 

I trained for my complementary therapies both at college and at healing centres. I am a Reiki and Seichem master and a practitioner of Quantum Touch and EFT and have a diploma in Indian Head Massage. I have been practicing for over 9 years both with people and animals. I can offer set therapy sessions or a combination depending on what is best for the client. The therapies that I practise can help with stress, phobias, lack of energy, illness and many other problems but can also be used to lift the clients self esteem, self worth and energy levels.
 
I have always been aware that I could feel emotions from animals but it wasn't until recently that I had the confidence to actually recognise that I could and was able to communicate with animals.  I have completed quite a few communications and the results have been amazing.  I attended a communications course a few years ago which confirmed to me the gift I have.  
 
I have two children and several animals ranging from horses, dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs not forgetting the cattle and sheep. I have always been a lover of animals and as a child desparately wanted to be a vet.  Things happened and it couldn't be but to me my healing, communication, the forever products and counselling is near enough as I am still able to help empower people and animals to heal themselves in a natural way.
 
I really feel passionate and inspired with healing and so want to allow everyone to enjoy it.  My vision is to open a healing centre for people and horses (and perhaps dogs), to allow people to come on  holiday with their horses to receive healing and a communication whilst they can also go riding out as they wish and/or attend clinics.  I would love to be able to run courses and clinics for all to attend and enjoy whilst also learning the techniques to take away into their own lives so they to can be enriched with the energy.  It's feels so important to me to give back to our beloved animals through healing and empathy. 
 
In March 2009 I became a Forever Living distributor and business consultant, well it is the most rewarding, fantastic and fun work I have ever done.  I was made redundant from my full time work in December 2009 and now I work my Forever business and my therapies full time.  The products are outstanding and it is a joy and pleasure to be able to recommend them to people and animals to help make their lives more comfortable. Also to be able to give people the opportunity to be self employed but under the Forever hat is so important to me, to allow people to have that choice of opportunity, the chance to fulfil their dreams.  Amazing life I have now full of choices and the chance to achieve so much for my family and me.  I could go on and on.  Take a look and maybe you will decide to try it and then feel as fantastic as I do.
